I use an earlier version of this program for the PCs on m test bench. It’s great and simply works.
I’d put this pgrm & Macrium Reflect on par. Better than may backup programs you have to purchase.AndyGuestCured the problem with the invalid code here. Problem is in your hosts file
remove the aomei entries and it works fine thenfkLincolnwoodGuestI have installed and registered the pro version of Aomei backup. Went in fine.
Is their a time limit on when I need to create the PE bootable media? Or can I delay
since Aomei states AIK/ kit needs to be installed. I use the disk cloning mode and I
don’t think that requires the PE bootable disk. But I would explore the other back up features
now that pro is installed instead of the standard version which did work fine. Trying pro should be productive.RajGuestI want to backup my current desktop and restore the entire system, as is to a new computer.
1. Can I use this to do that?
2. Will it restore all my software, without having to hunt down licenses?
3. How do I restore it to a brand new computer?Thank you
Raj

Chris LockeGuestWe use Aomei Backupper a lot at work, and its one of the most reliable and easy to use backup programs.
Creating an image of a machine is very important – if for some reason (usually Windows updates…) it fails to boot, or the disk becomes corrupted, you need a ‘point in time’ to return to.
Aomei Backupper has an easy to use interface, and backs up easily to other computers on the network, USB devices or other partitions on the same computer.
You can backup system partitions (Win 7 uses two partitions to boot) disks or just files and folders. Both full, incremental and differential backups are supported, so taking an incremental image backup after a full image (say each week) is very quick.
Finally, the best feature is restoring to different hardware. Install Windows how you want it, back it up, and you can restore that image onto any computer. Simply install the necessary drivers after, but its great for the office – simple to create ‘gold’ images – a corporate image of a machine ready to go.
Comparing editions, there is no reason to get the professional against the free version… only ‘merge backups’ and ‘command line’ is extra.BlazejGuestLicense key is invalid
