Does not load, link never works for this site.
Folder Styler does not install and my copy of the Ashampoo App (which I have had for many months) no longer runs.
(I have downloaded and re-installed the Ashampoo App from the Ashampoo website but it still does not run.)

Tried it twice. Acted like it was installing something but it did NOTHING, just like others are saying. Just hope it did not put some crapware on my computer that will pop up later.
Same problem. Installed “app” successfully, but it does not deliver the Folder Styler.
Logged into m Ashampoo account, and Folder Styler is not visible there either.
You can probably find free icon files to download on the internet or extract the icons from other folder icon changer programs not this one as ashampoo app breaks it so you don’t get the real program by all reports… and use windows explorer to locate the folder you want to customise and right click, select Properties and then select the Customise TAB and choose Change Icon from the Folder Icon section… that procedure works on any windows from at least XP and up, this program is supposed to be just a fancy GUI for that system.
I t works fine when installed carefully according to directions. The icons are not bad, but not art, either. Other than the fact that this will also apply settings to subdirectories, it is easy enough to assign special icons right through Windows itself. If you are looking for theme icon packages that will apply a whole theme of icons, you would be better off with something like WinCustomize and Stardock. It does what it says it will, though, and it was free.
Does not work on my windows 11. Asks for license and none given by Ashampoo. Only goes as far as Ashampoo App and does not link to free download for Folder Styler. Ashampoo needs to get its act together.
Thought I would post info about a program I have used for over twenty years.

You can use this program to change your own photos into ico images and
go into properties of the folder you wish to change and select customize.
you can then select your ico picture as the icon image.
You can also do so much more with this program.This is the second day and it does not work, been trying for an hour.

And our lamentations and petitions to drop the act, streamline the descriptions, and actually be humanly honest… all are wasted on the Artificial Management that seems to not give a frack.

[@Bay Area John] credit where its due though the order of the official product description and the probably AI overview has reversed so we don’t have to scroll through overview before we get to the potentially legally binding product description. It is easier to avoid wading through the fawning tripe now:)
