I installed the App. I have a Ashampoo account
Once you are logged in, you will be asked to install LOCALINGO. Click INSTALL and follow all on-screen instructions. Once installed, you can run Ashampoo LocaLingo and start using it.
But no Local Lingo…
In the app I found a version I could buy for 12 euro.?This is just a BAD program. Now with the download. Limmited languages for instellation.
Got this from another deal-site, uninstalled after failures to translate German to English.
Used converter files from pdf to required format for SHAREDDRIVE instruction details, another bright spark idea to only print in German.
Localingo didn’t work for me tried everything.

Looks like a clickbait.As most the ashampoo poopoo software this doesn’t work : I’ve donwload the ashampoo app, install it, login, click on the giveaway option, then the app have block and I needed to close it by the task manager, then I’ve retry and surprise it asks 12€ for the translator.
Just get a window that says “Ashampoo Connect is being updated. It will continue in a few moments.” Never resolves. Killed app via task manager.
I installed and tried to translate texts from a file from English to Polish. It doesn’t work. It only works with short texts pasted into the window. Completely useless application

As a translation specialist, I find that this application relies on an exceedingly poor translation engine, widely regarded as the worst within linguistic circles. It employs a primitive translation mechanism reminiscent of the 1980s, despite any claims to the contrary. Imagine, for instance, that despite my interest in all languages, the fifth most spoken language globally is not supported—an utterly laughable omission. The Arabic language surpasses Spanish, French, Russian, and Portuguese in global ranking, yet it remains unsupported. This translation engine is not only rudimentary but also discriminatory. I urge the developers of the Ashampoo application to take note of my comment.

Old JackThank you to all who have posted their bad experiences with this product, it confirms my frustration with the installation procedure. I never did get to the point where I could try it out!
Judging by the comments from “OldHack_Jack” this is not a useful or accurate piece of software.
Too bad, it looked like a really useful tool.Big fail from Ashampoo. Uninstalled.
