What happens after 6 months? Also, what is the backup format? I’ve been using Backup For All because it backs everything up in Zip format. That makes recovery easy.

Ashampoo backup pro 26 offer was MUCH better, has some quirks but it offers backup to all the same locations and maybe more cloud options as well as ongoing real-time backups, I’m not sure what’s available on cbackup at least Ashampoo offer a permanent license.

[@Goldenbarstewart] If you backup direct to non-attached or non-enumerated storage locations so the file systems are not available to windows then yes you’d probably be protected against current ransomware encrypting your backups and locking you out of your backups but obviously you are not protected from ransomware downloading a copy of your confidential live data for resale/ransom i.e. pay or we will expose your data to the world or sell it on the dark web which could result in massive fines from data protection regulators.

    Hi,
    Please clarify:
    1) When backing up folders with files and subfolders, in the destination, the folders will have the same timestamp (date and time) of the original folders ?
    2) After the period of 6 months the “Pro” version goes to the limited free version and in order to be able to use it again as “Pro” I will have to upgrade to Pro. According to the site, the price is not pay-once but consists of a subscription: $47.88/year.
    My question is:
Taking into account that this product (“CBackup Professional”) has no AOMEI cloud related features, why the price is not pay-once and the users are paying every year to the company ?
    Best regards
    J.D.

The license key provided CBPC-TP3PC-WCDRW-DFUVU for CBackup Professional at Shareware on Sale website is not working. It says the key is not correct.
