The thing fails to run. A pop up error window appears. You cannot even get to the stage of trying to input the serial key to activate.
I checked the EULA carefully during the installation process.
Please note the software developer did mention “CASINO” in its EULA, and you have to agree to the Eula.
Please check this yourself and confirm to your own satisfaction.
Many users have reported that this thing actually does not work or cannot be activated.
The installation graphics and windows are reminiscent of the Windows 95 era.
This is definitely not the latest 2016 software.
One possibility is that this is not a sincere giveaway of a software.
But is instead a carefully planned users’ data, contacts and IP address harvesting scheme.
Why would they want that?
Perhaps because with an eye to introduce you to Online Casino Gambling later on. And getting you hooked.
A check using Regseeker reveals many remnants in the registry even after uninstall.

Also, how many times can it be activated and how many computers can I install it on?

[@Ilan] Every component was scanned individually by virustotal and came out negative. The installable (combination of all the individual components) gives a positive on one out of 57 scanners. I would say that that is a false positive and that the software is safe to install.

click on the Options and you can customize to your hearts content.[@Oleg Galkin] Obviously you did NOT read the EULA. It states that the EULA covers a number of software products which we have written or marketed, one of them being Casino Biorhythms, but eh EULA specifically is about Daybook.

Sorry if you do not like my installation graphics, and for me this is the latest 2016 software. Many people don’t want or need the latest and greatest and are happy with a piece of software they find easy to use and reminds them of simpler times. As for not being a sincere giveaway, you got it for free. How sincere is that.[@Bernard] If I purchase this, can you tell me what the update / upgrade policy is?
it’s a lifetime upgrade policy, you start Daybook with an internet connection and if there is an update available you have the option of downloading and installing it. (takes about a minute).
Also, how many times can it be activated and how many computers can I install it on?
Each computer requires an individual license, but where those licenses are used is up to you.
You can re-activate it as many times as you want, but if it is done more that twice in a week per license you will have to contact me to reset your activation, so if you get a new computer it is no problem to move the license to another computer.
I would generally agree with the above review, but I would add one more con. I found no way to add a recurring event such as a birthday. A birthday event could be added, but it appeared that event had taken place, the event’s entry would need to be edited to come up the next year.
I decided to uninstall DayBook. I used IObit Uninstaller, and during the uninstall it put up a message indicating that there may be something bad here. It decided that there wasn’t anything after all, but I had never seen this message before.
