I had a camera I just bought on eBay so I put “Deep Data Recovery” vs “Recuva” to the test with the formatted card found in the camera, both found .jpgs but “Deep Data Recovery” found video files that “Recuva” missed.

Program comes up in Dark mode and it is difficult to see the icons in the upper right corner. Hovering over the “X” position shows “X” with a red background. There are also a “Minimize” icon and a “Menu” icon which you can’t see so you just have to do your best to position the cursor. No text description appears for either icon. There does not seem to be a “Maximize” icon but you can maximize the program window manually. The “Menu” icon contains: Help, Import scan, Create bootable disk, Check for update, Error Report, About.

I have no idea what “import scan” is for and no idea how to use it. I can’t find any description in the tutorials but I still have some to read through.

I haven’t actually used the program so I don’t know how effective it is.

Tried to “create bootable disk”. Message comes up saying I need to load “Windows AIK” to create a Windows PE bootable image. Unfortunately, the download link to Microsoft tells me “We’re sorry, this download is no longer available”. At this point, it is not worth it to me to spend the time to figure out how to create a bootable disk on my own. The AIK software appears to be needed for earlier versions of windows (XP, Vista). This suggests to me that this software is either very old or the developer doesn’t do his homework. My expectations for this software are now very low.

the license key doesnt work, activate know, please enter the key, say network error and fail to activate. this version allows you to preview files only to recover files please upgrade (money). this iis wrong too:

There is no confirmation message telling you successful registration. You can confirm it worked by going to MENU and then ABOUT. The license key will be listed there, if registration was successful.

about menu say Licence: here show the lecence key
and key: this window is empty
