    [ @Ashraf] are you no longer validating AI products with the fake banner at the top of AI product pages or did you relies the fake notification provided zero evidence it worked well or did not do anything untoward?

    Don’t waste time on this software. You can tell this is a cheaply made software when the progress status bar does not even worked.

    As usual for developers appearing on these giveaway sites these steal FFMPEG.EXE and FFPROBE.EXE by distributing GPLv3 builds of them in a closed source product. just run the programs in a command prompt window with the “-L” switch.

    It also requires .NET 8.0, installer contains it. No untoward network activity during installation. Activation is OFFLINE but the activation window does not go away after you click on OK suggesting this has yet to be beta tested… we have to X out of the activation window and restart the application… all things that should be done programmatically if required. It defaults to opening the users Documents folder…. this program does NOT work with Documents of ANY KIND. logic suggests it should be opening the Music folder by default where sound recordings are normally put. More evidence this has not been thoroughly tested yet. It does also accept video file formats but yet to see if it maintains lip-sync in processed output. There is NO default output path set when you install this and no option to use input folder and rename… more evidence this is an untested program. There appears to be no choice of output file format… with just bitrate setting being the only output setting on offer… the values suggest it might be using mp3 codec… lets see… does NOT use intel or nvidia GPUs just ordinary multi-core CPU. It uses denoise_tool.exe to do the processing and does not show real-time progress on any given session. how long will this take? who knows? we don’t! my guess is the progress bar just moves when a process has completed and not during processing as it still remains blank. so far needs much more work and a ui redesign. If this completes I’ll post a followup reply.

    [@TK] It eventually completed, then crashed because it did not request write permission during installation from windows protected folder access (ransomware protection) I gave it write permission to the Music folder and tried again some time and no progress notification later it completed writing the same file type but renamed with _clean appended to the file name and the stereo wav file mutilated into a mono wav file and the audio had all sorts of artifacts added as it tried to manipulate the audio to rid it of room reverb and clicks etc. much of the voice became unrecognizable and unusable. I am going to uninstall. It did not make any network requests for AI model training data so must all be in the one installation.

    DeepCleanAudio promises AI‑powered audio cleanup but delivers a frustrating experience. Processing is slow to the point of unusable, even on strong hardware, and the app’s progress indicator is practically nonexistent, leaving you guessing whether anything is happening at all. The UI feels unfinished, with clunky navigation and minimal feedback that makes every task harder than it should be. While it can remove basic noise, the overall experience is sluggish, opaque, and far from polished. It feels more like a prototype than a dependable audio tool.

    I can only admit to all complains (@TK, @Revolluos, @acwai)
    And im fed up with the inflation of all those programs ignoring copyrights of others (ffmpg etc.)

    BTW:
    This Programm is – at best – in an alpha state..
    I add to TK´s complains:
    – last extremely long to complete a file;
    – No real AI cant (e.g: removed all music and EVEN PARTS OF THE VOICE in my 1st mp3 test file!!!)
    – can´t drag a file into its “interface”
    – does not remember path fo input and output.
    I better stop here

    As @acwai said: a complete waste of time
