Same problem as Richard Chretien. Got it to install (the second attempt). Had to run as administrator, but there is no Dose menu in Excel 2003, so no place to add serial number to register.
ZbrainsoftGuestDear All
If you have Windows 7, 8 or Vista and the add-in still not showing on excel ribbon or not installed correctly, then please try the following:
1. Go to Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs and uninstall the add-in.
2. Right-click on the .rar folder with the product files and select to extract all.
3. Open the extracted folder, right-click on setup.exe and choose to run as administrator:
If you don’t have the option Run as Administrator, please make sure you unpacked the .ZIP folder with the add-in’s files.
4. Follow the steps of the Installation Wizard.
Open Excel and check if the add-in appeared under the Dose tab.
Please note, it is important to select the Run as Administrator option even if you are logged in as Administrator and have the Admin rights on your PC.
If the above solution did not work, then try the below one:
Please try to do the following:
1. Make sure the add-in isn’t disabled:
– Go to Excel File -> Options->Add-ins
– Select “Disabled Items” from the “Manage” drop-down list at the bottom of the window and click Go.
– If the add-in is in the list, select it and click the ‘Enable’ button.2. Make sure the add-in loads correctly:
– Go to Excel File -> Options->Add-ins
– Select “COM add-ins” from the “Manage” drop-down list at the bottom of the window and click Go.
– Find the add-in in the list.
– If it is unchecked, check it and close the “COM Add-ins” dialog. Please let me know if you still have any issues.

Support team @ZbrainsoftChristianGuestAfter a lot of trial and error i managed to get it installed after getting the same error messages about invalid certificate as many others here had.
What i did was rightclick on every file that was unpacked from the .rar file and under the General tab, on the bottom there is a text saying something like “This file comes from another computer and has been blocked to protect the computer” (i translated from swedish to its probably a little different in the original english) and next to the text is a checkbox with a text “Unblock” (again, translated from swedish), i did this for the first .exe and .vsto file and then in Application Files\Dose for Excel_3_1_7_5 folder, i did it for all the files in this folder as well, i did not do it for the files in the Resources folder
After this, i could install it.
ZbrainsoftGuestDear All
For users that trying to install Dose for Excel and error message shows up (Certificate not trusted), you can have this tested and worked solution:
Right click on Setup.exe after you unrar the downloaded folder then go to ‘Digital Signatures’ then select the name of signer and press on ‘Details’ then press on ‘View Certificate’ then press on ‘Install Certificate…’
For more guarantee if the above did not work then try the solution of Christian (Many thanks) to install successfully, after unrar the folder you downloaded of Dose for Excel, right click on each file and under General tab on the bottom there is a text saying ‘This file comes from another computer and has been blocked to protect the computer’ and next to it a checkbox ‘Unblock’ press on it.
Do the above steps for all unrared files and after installation go to Application Files\Dose for Excel_3_1_7_5 folder and apply the same steps again to it.BR
Support team @ZbrainsoftChadGuestI’m having the same problem with Excel 2003. After a lengthy conversation with [email protected], they recommend I upgrade my Excel version to 2007 in order to get this add-in to work.
This leads me to believe that Dose for Excel is NOT compatible with Excel 2003.
jeGuestGot it installed but I enter the serial number and hit the ‘register’ button and get the error ‘no internet connection, connect to your internet’. Internet is working fine and on that same ‘Register Dose’ popup, if I click on the ‘website’ link or the ‘purchase’ button, they both go right to the website – no connection problem.
Dose’s reply was:
It must work, but anyway we released another version for you so you can register successfully.
Uninstall Dose for Excel Add-In from (Programs and Features) and download the new version from the below link:http://www.zbrainsoft.com/files/DoseforExcel.rar
Uninstalled, reinstalled new version successfully and when registering (note, now there is a field for email address) now when clicking the ‘register’ button, nothing happens – no error, nothing, not registering. Other links and buttons still work as described above.
pimGuestbonjour,
l’installation du add-in en administrateur échoue à chaque fois et pas de “dose” dans la barre excel.
Donc, ne pas perdre sontemps…
Cordialement
pimFunGuestThe serial # doesn’t seem to register on my Excel 2007, the registration also asks for an email address. I tried my own email or [email protected], didn’t work. Now DOSE reported it expired after using it for a day! Please help.
Much appreciated!Lisa Marie PickensGuestGreetings,
