I have a large workbook with several hundred macros that are for just that one workbook. Can I split the workbook into two work books so that the macros on one workbook and a data on the other?

[@HIPOCKETS] I cannot see how that could work unless you can re-design things so the target sheet includes the macro defining sheet similar to how programs include header files… but simply splitting a working workbook into individual sheets should break macros and equations defined in other sheets that are no longer referenced correctly. You would probably need both their excel splitter and the excel merger both have a YouTube video demonstrating install and use of them, and as far as I see both are free for personal use and only ask you buy the pro license if you use them for professional purposes. I have them both but I don’t have the required test workbooks and sheets to test them with to answer your question definitively.. both splitter and merger were obtained via giveaways… but should be functional as the free download from the above pages.
    Hope that helps
