This SOS offering of FlashBoot today is ONLY the free version. There is no special page or process run during Setup that allows for registration. What is SUPPOSED to happen is this:
“Download and install FlashBoot Pro by the download link above. After installation, run the FlashBoot application and click on the “Register this software”. Make sure your USB device is already plugged in. Select your USB device when prompted, and click OK:”
THIS LATTER STEP IS NOT PRESENT IN TODAY’S DOWNLOAD!
Progress report – following the above adjustment in the Windows 10 Setup, the program worked a treat. The setup contained clear and helpful instructions for choosing between the various options available. The formatting itself took about 12 hours, but seems to have gone without a hitch. Suggestion – if the registration page fails to show up, open your default browser and look for it there.

Kaspersky, ZoneAlarm, and Tapmine detect the installer in this download as malware and immediately deletes the file, making it impossible to use the software. Hopefully this issue can be checked and resolved out by the developer and / or sharewareonsale.com

Tryed to install, but Kaspersky flaged and deleted the file.

AlanUPDATE — Flashboot was finally registered. The problem was apparently due to having an earlier version already installed on my W10 machine. The first time the latest Flashboot offer was installed, the installer just overwrote the previously installed Flashboot and no registration method was shown. Today the older version was first uninstalled and then the newer version was installed. Registration was allowed and the installation and license made the program into the Pro version.
Hello，Now I face a problem
Once I used a 16G USB Drive to install FLASHBOOT PRO
and when I use that,it told me it’s not enough space to backup my os
so I used another 32G USB
but now it shows the err message that
FLASHBOOT PRO wae registered for another USB Device
please help me to solve this problem

I have the same problem as Martin Wright: Could not install this software with Kaspersky on system. When I unzip the file to a folder and run the installation file, I get a message that “Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.” and then the installation file is automatically deleted. I checked the file with Kaspersky and I see that it has been eliminated every time I’ve tried to install it.
So apparently you can’t install it while Kaspersky is active in memory and, according to Martin Wright, you can’t run it, either, once installed.
Installed smoothly for me. Just follow instructions. However, I have 2 desktops and thought I could just use the same jump drive for both. Learned that each key is coded to one computer. So had to use to external drives with a unique key for each.
This is a bummer. Uninstalled before going through the authorization.
I’m sure it works great, but the SOS version “pro” features are tied to a single USB device.
Very restricted license, and what happens when you break or lose the one USB stick?
