mardelGuestThank you for having this software today. So simple to install and insert license. This will make it so much easier now for me to encrypt either one file or a lot. Seems so easy to use, that I like!
Thanks againGeorgeGuestDownloaded and installed Fort no problem. When I right click on a file I get nothing in reference to Fort. Installed on W10.
JohnGuestDownloads very quick and run set-up with no trouble.
Right-click on a file to encrypt but Fort does not appear anywhere on my system.
The only items relating to Fort on my system is the web page and FortCryptoExtensionSetup.exe.William McCommisGuestI have never used encryption software before. A little bit of explanation on how to use the Fort software would be helpful to me. Thanks.

Hi, I’m the lead developer of Fort.
I haven’t seen this issue before. Do you have .NET Framework 4 or later installed? It should be installed by default, but maybe there’s something with that.
So if you right click some file for example on your desktop, in the popup menu there’s no menu called “Fort”?
Niko RosvallGuestHi William,
So after installing Fort, select some file for example on your desktop and right click it. You should see a popup menu with a submenu called “Fort”. From there you can choose to encrypt the file. If the file is already encrypted by Fort you can choose to decrypt it.
Niko RosvallGuestsonycGuestThank you for this great program!
JoPfefGuestWOW!
Just tested this software out after downloading it and installing it, and it’s a very impressive piece of software. Would definitely recommend this software to anyone needing to encrypt personal documents. I encrypt all of my key codes for all of my software, before I upload it to the Cloud. This is another nice weapon for security, in this all-too-unsecure world that we live in. Very happy to have this free! Many thanks!!!
YvesGuestGreat product, works well in win 10. Tks for this offer
LMPGuestI downloaded and install fort. However when I right-click on a file, fort does not come up as an option. Please advise.

Hi,
On what operating system you’re using? Do you have .Net Framework 4 or later installed. It’s usually installed by default, but sometimes it might not be.
You could also try to reboot after installing Fort. Maybe it helps?
MaschiGuestAshraf! Nico Rosvall!
I am delighted! I am impresses!
Big bundle of thanks!
An outstanding offer.
An excellent software.

Hello George. I have similar issue as below on a win 10 home x64 16gb memmory. I dont see netframework 4 in programs control panel but when tried download from ms says installed. I can see MS sync framework 2.0 in control panel. When using Fort At right click file it reads “Encrypt” with pic of lock, and able to decrypt, but does not say Fort. Screen says “Enter password for file name”, and shows a box that has hide key; keyboard key, Binary Key and “Yukey”. Are this by Forte? Also cannot enter key. but appears to be working fine. when right click file it simply says Enycript but no name by Fort. I have Kryptel standard installed. Rather use your program, seems simpler. Please provide any suggestions to [email protected]
