This is not not free everything you do it wants you to pay or puts a water mark on your photo uninstalled.

I don’t know if I’ve done something wrong, but the program is not registered by SharewareOnSale like other programs. It is simply a free version that I can download directly from the official Fotor website.

First thing I tried, it asked me to pay to save the result – useless
Also, has consistently failed to start since then – won’t be using that software

This program is mostly useless. Every feature requires a payment. It will be deleted soon.

[ @Ashraf] The download package itself, doesn’t seem to run? Does it need admin privilege?

[@G2k1] Interesting that people are comparing the FREE trial from the website directly, with a downloadable program LOL. These days, if a program CAN be run from a website, it is heaps better already, with the “burden” shifted from the CPU and GPU to someone else’s server or computer…

Rather than depend on a good uninstall/install tracking program, set a Restore Point before installing this ad to get back to before you thought this was a good idea (Unnecessarily too hard to remove otherwise). It is an an attempt to try to get you into paying for a subscription of their edition that is not so limited. You are better off using MS Paint, Irfanview, or Gimp. Foto started out being named “PhotoShop Lite” when they started, but that didn’t work out well for them.

This is by far THE WORST giveaway you have offered. Yes, the program is outstanding, but it is only a free version. When you try to do something with it, it immediately demands a payment. Furthermore, it only offers a THREE DAY TRIAL.

Giveaway of the Day, you have been deceived! Please do your best to test the programs before you are manipulated into spreading pay-to-use “free” programs.

As a “Guest” it was not very useful. Someone messed up I think. I uninstalled.

[@Gary] Very sound advice about setting a System Restore Point prior to installation. I installed this on a “Virtual Machine” and it spread itself far and wide. Left a huge folder named “Resources” in the App Data/ Roaming folder in Windows 10. Over 2000 registry entries were added to the registry! Avoid like the plague since it only gives you a trial period and watermarked outputs when attempting to save a photo. Not for the faint hearted, so follow the good advice of setting a restore point if you really want to try it.Not worth the hassle and inconvenience, let alone the headaches it will give you if you don’t know how to uninstall it completely!
