one massive lie in the Official description:

“The no. 1 free, powerful and all-in-one utility for cleaning your Windows PC”

It’s NOT FREE it’s a paid for product that offers a short free trial normally and an extended free trial via giveaway sites but it is NOT “The no. 1 free, powerful and all-in-one utility for cleaning your Windows PC” because it’s not permanently FREE it’s not freeware it’s shareware!

[@Civil] In case you did not mean this particular offer but a paid for 1 year subscription you buy from the vendor, that auto-renews at whatever the price is in the cart at time of purchase.

I used this for several years and thought it was ok. At the same time, I could not open or run Windows Task Manager so all sorts of things would not run. I spent about 2 years looking for the solution (web searches at least once a month), trying dozens of “fixes” that didn’t work. All Microsoft could recommend was wiping my hard drive and reinstalling Windows. I never did that, it takes me months to reload software and music plugins and samples onto a PC. Then I saw an offer for Kerish PC Doctor. I didn’t want competing programs circling around each other, so I uninstalled Glary Utiities. Amazingly, Task Manager started working again. I can’t prove anything but it was a BIG coincidence. Won’t touch Glary software again. Anyone else have similar issues? If I’m the only one, then carry on, enjoy the giveaway.

After reading these comments, I thought I would add mine. I first started using Glary Utilities several, several years ago. Had no problems and purchased a life-time license. Yes, I am still using this software and have had no issues including using task manager. I have a Win10 Pro which has been upgraded to Win11 Pro. I also use Kerish Dr. (which is an amazing software even by itself). As far as the comment about the task manager with Glary installed, I have to say that I still don’t have an issue with the task manager and believe it had to be another issue causing that problem.

I forgot one thing….yes there is a free version of this software, so that statement is correct.
If you use this pro version and don’t upgrade after that first year, it reverts to the free version.
