    [ @Kent] Suggesting that users post their emails in messages here that are open for anyone to view, or web-crawlers etc, is an extremely poor suggestion from an information security viewpoint!!!!! It should be a no-no to state this.

    SOS itself states that email addresses will not be published when they make comments here, even though people are asked for them when making the comments. That is most likely to be for security and privacy reasons. Surely?!!

    I posted a work around above, yesterday, where I downloaded the installer from the developers website, that worked OK with the registration details emailed to me by Kotobee.

    The redemption link is not working, always “Error, the developer’s server appears to be down”.

    As of 1:50 pm Eastern time (US), developer’s server is still down. Also, I tried to download the installer and Bitdefender (my antivirus) had to disinfect and quarantine parts of the download:

    Infected file detected
    The file H:\Temp\SharewareOnSale_Giveaway_64-bit_Kotobee_Author_hub.exe is infected with
    Trojan.GenericKD.32763334 and was moved to quarantine. It is recommended that you run a System
    Scan to make sure your system is clean.

    Too bad…. I downloaded this in a previous giveaway and tho’ I’ve never had a chance to use it, I appreciated all the emails with helpful tips since I registered. The author seemed to care about helping users get the most from the product. Not sure what went wrong this time but I’m seriously looking at uninstalling the old version if they can’t explain this.

    Cannot obtain Registry Information or Redemption Link needed.
