Key provided is not a “real” registration code? According to the developer the one provided on SOS is a “test key” with limitations. Not sure what will happen other than the obvious limited number of server modules, but this does not appear to be a “Pro” license.

    From the publishers site:
“For convenience the license key is entered in a license manager in LiteManager Viewer module (Main menu, Help – License management). If you need to purchase a license key for servers belonging to one organization and the remote access should be used by another organization, then the license key can be transferred to the latter for use (only for access to these servers) The transfer must be confirmed by written consents from two organizations.

To check how the license manager works, you can use a free test key for one server.

Test key on one channel (test): the key has a test limit, it does not eliminate the restriction on the number of server modules.

    Hi,

This doesn’t appear to be any special offer at all. The exact same license key is on their website up for grabs:

This is official license key for LiteManager Pro version.
You can use it without any limitations.
License for 1 server computer in Viewer list, but possible to delete it and add another one computer.

can I install both functions on the same machine?
The goal is to use one day the desktop as server and the laptop as client. Another day reversing this use and have the laptop as server and the desktop as client.
    Thanks

Can this be used to have a mapped drive from the remote computer to the server, and just leave it up and running for when my software requires a mapped drive?
I have a program that requires a mapped drive to access the databases. I want to have clients that can use the program and access the database to use the software when they are away from the work site. I have been trying to make this happen with Hamachi, but I have found it to be very unreliable, and frequently when it drops out, it will not reconnect automatically.

The sad thing is, a lot of people don’t know or realize that per most all Internet service providers that they are not ALLOWED to run a SERVER. And secondly, if they do they could legally have their internet service provider go back on them and charge them at a business rate, meaning, if your going to play around with SERVERS on your PC then you should know what you are doing. And people trying to spread this type of software SHOULD BETTER INFORM them of the laws or at least give some type of “Hey you might wanna check it out” information.

    @Eye KNow:
Thanks for the enormously helpful warning to check if it’s possible (allowed) before you try.
    Have a nice day

    [ @Ashraf]
“Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item” when I try to start the server. I can’t run the program.

I’ve tried administrator mode and get the same error.

    Running Windows 10 (64-bit).

He can’t do this, but perhaps you can use built in RDP mode, it can work through Connection by ID and in RDP settings turn on the Redirection of drives, devices. (but I don’t do this by myself)

Yeah. But I said it doesn’t appear to be a ‘special’ offer. As the same key can be grabbed from your website as well.
