Another software with a bad rating BEFORE any comments … I don’t understand …
Macrorit edits good softwares most of the time. I’m gonna take this one.When I downloaded this, I found it was version 4.3.0, as given away previously on 24th July 2018. The current version, 4.3.5, can be downloaded from the Macrorit site.

I HATE companies that are dishonest or sneaky ,I went to their web site with the intention of buying the product as is listed for Euros 29.95 no problem until i was about to pay i noticed it now cost Euros 35.90 and a note saying the rest is vat ,I find this a sneaky method ,I have bought many programs from companies on the web before and up to now all prices are quoted INCLUDING vat as no one can avoid paying it unless you are a company ,adding this at the last moment is bad business and leave a very bad taste in my mouth ,this company is not to be trusted ,up until then i was willing to pay for the program now i will just try the program then get rid of it .My problem here is not the price but they method ,it was 29.95 all along until you reach the check out suddenly you are told its now 35.90, unacceptable ! ! , no thanks .
[@ALI] SoS already gave away v4.3.5 in February, 2019. Also don’t use old direct links to files from previous giveaways, sometimes they are found in a .zip or .msi file instead of a previous .exe. Use the SoS downloader. =)

[@BreMM] How did you get the 4.3.5 version? My install still shows the old 4.3.0 version.
Does this still not mark bad sectors? (as per the review from last year)
Does it do anything helpful besides create a list of things to buy other software to fix?
I’ve seen the Macrorit name for many years, I assume they still put out good software. Just wondering if this giveaway does anything Win 10 can’t provide.WRONG VERSION of Macrorit Disk Scanner Pro Plus is being downloaded.
It should be version 4.3.5 >>> but v.4.3.0 is being downloaded INSTEAD.I installed the program, but it is version 4.3.0. What gives???? With no free updates.
This page says that version 4.3.5 will get installed but version 4.3.0 is what actually got installed.

Why would I install and use this application if I can run system CHKDSK?
Besides, there are many much more sophisticated applications which not only search for bad sectors. In my opinion this program is useless. And it works sooo damn slooowly. And you can’t force it to full screen.
