I’m now suspicious of this product. First of all, it’s supposed to be an enterprise software, and yet, there are activation problems. I myself have had trouble registering for the free plan they provide on their site.

Then, the English used is really very bad. The full-price program is quite expensive. You can only use the product online. It’s supposed to be used by big corporations, and yet passwords more than 20 characters long are rejected — a ridiculous breach of basic security rules.

If I understand correctly, the program is supposed to assist engineers in designing products. It is supposed to automate the process in a way. While being connected to one’s online account with the software publisher.

And, added to all the above, the program is Chinese. This stinks to high heaven. I’m sorry if this looks like laying suspicion against a whole country, but American security services have discovered that China has successfully hacked, right in their factories, the hardware of some of the most sensitive servers used by Apple, the Pentagon, etc. Allowing China full access. They successfully hid an almost invisible hardware component on the motherboard of all the servers shipped to the US. Here is the story : https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2018-10-04/the-big-hack-how-china-used-a-tiny-chip-to-infiltrate-america-s-top-companies

This really looks like a clumsy attempt at industrial espionage.
