Nick HGuest
I envy those of you who get as far as failing to register this software, I cannot install it. At first it appears to have installed, there is an icon on the desktop and the end of the installation process presents me with a window asking if I want to open the software, whether I click to open it, or not, it makes no difference. The installation process restarts!
I’ve tried uninstalling it with Revo Uninstaller and beginning again. I’ve tried installing it on another computer (both Win 10 64-bit) and a Win 10 32-bit laptop, with the same failure. I downloaded it again, using a different email address, it still failed to install on all three computers.
I’m guessing that something to do with my settings or security software is not liked by MyDraw. If this is the case I am not changing them, the software does not need to access anything that I block it from gaining access to, they are my computers, not the vendor’s.
I’ve worked in IT for many years, I test out a lot of different software and OS’s, I’m not messing about with something that is not capable of installing itself, it cannot be fit for purpose.
nachGuestI keep getting a message that says: no available licenses found for this account. do you want to purchase a license.
JSGGuestAfter all the registration mess we find out that the “lifetime” license is just a one-year license!?!?! Sharewareonsale really needs to do better!!
HowardGuestActivation Failed. No available licenses found for this account. After login and clicking ACTIVATE WITH MYDRAW ACCOUNT. Please advise.
Nick HGuest[@nach] Update.
I tried downloading the installer from the vendor’s website, after comparing that version and the one I got yesterday through the SOS Hub they appeared to be the same (although later on further more detailed inspections show there to be slight differences).
This time it installed without any problems, quickly. So I suspect there was an issue with the SOS Hub or the installer file obtained through it yesterday.
However, I could not register it. I’ve previously had an earlier version of MyDraw and uninstalled it soon after I obtained it two years ago because there were various issues with using it easily. I used the same email and my old password and followed the instructions as provided on SOS after you register for the software. My account page shows the download I made yesterday and the earlier one, I used the information on my account page for this new version when I tried to activate the software, unsuccessfully again.
I then tried to download another version through SOS, but I get a message asking me to leave the remaining downloads for other people. SOS claims to have resent the download link from yesterday again. It hasn’t arrived.
All in all this has been a complete shambles. I appreciate the software that SOS have offered in the past, but the site and a lot of what has been offered recently appears to have become shoddy, based on my more recent experiences.
Nick KGuest[@Nick K] OK, I think I figured out how they are showing the licensing. The original offer was a 2-PC lifetime license with free upgrades for the first year.
When I look at my Licenses it shows 2 for the 2 PCs with 1 being used for my finally successful activation, but when I look at my orders it shows a subscription term of 1 year – the length that free updates are included.
It appears they have their website issues cleared up, so if you had trouble earlier, please try again.
Blair JonesGuestThat’s what I see when I checked my licenses — which I did since you mentioned it.
It does require going through a couple of hoops, though — going to/signing in to website rather than just having the info there in the “about” box in the program.
I haven’t tried actually making a chart/drawing or anything yet. Every click seems to induce a lengthy ‘loading circlet’.Rob FGuestGot the email ok. However after installing and following the instructions.
go to FILE > ABOUT. In the About dialog, you MUST log in using the account information (email and password) we give you above.
Click “log in” and nothing happens.
OlavoGuestFirst class software working fine on my Win10 and macOS.
Support people very knowledgeable about the product
and very patient with my issues about activation after
changing my HD without deactivating the app before the change.ahahGuestsame as mick and donormal/ idx blank file starts and can do nothing with it. no menu or option to start or logon. had to unistall.
Tom NovakGuestThis giveaway has been a sh!tshow.
Today I am able to register my account with my email username and password generated from the software checkout screen from SoS page, but when I log in on the app and try to activate the software with MyDraw account, I get the msg saying “No Available licenses for this account. Do you wish to purchase a license?”
NO DAMMIT !! I wish to activate the license that came from SoS, but that is not an available option.
When I am logged into my account thru my browser, I see under view licences just the line “This page shows the licenses associated with your account.”
Under the next section, view orders, I see:

The invoice seems to indicate that I owe $69.00.HOW DO I ACTIVATE MY “FREE” LICENSE??
I notice there is another button on the about screen of MyDraw with the label Activate with license key. Why can’t someone from SoS or MyDraw SEND me an email with the activation key?
Between last nite when the site wasn’t working for registration, and reading this SoS page for help, I have wasted over 4 hours and still don’t have the offer. And the offer expires in another 6+ hours.
I don’t have much hope of seeing this fixed by then.
Just a colossal waste of time !!!!!!!!Kevin BuiGuestI can log in by using my old account. However, it can not connect to activation server. Please fix it. Thank for your good soft.
Dave ColeGuestYesterday, I sent this email to MyDraw:
Thank you for making MyDraw available.
Downloaded and installed easily. Following the instructions EXACTLY on SOS, tapping on “Log into MyDraw Account” brings up a window for entering the username email and Password (per SharewareOnSale). The About page then says “Your are logged into your MyDrawAccount – username”.
Tapping on “ACTIVATE WITH MYDRAW ACCOUNT”, I’m told “No available licenses found for this account. Do you want to purchase a license?”
When I tried to visit http://www.mydraw.com, I got only a blank page. Oddly, I could visit http://www.mydraw.com/account-index, but could do nothing on that page.
Thanks for your help, and thanks again for making this available.
Today: Received an email from MyDraw which simply repeated the instructions. Tried everything again, but the problem remained. Will try another email. This is a reliable company – perhaps their website is having problems.
Mr.DaveGuestFollowed the steps, hoping to upgrade from previous version (4.x). Since I already had an account and password, I used those to log in per the directions. Then the Licensing part of the “About…” box shows up, saying “You are using a licensed version of MyDraw.” Two options are available: “Deactivate from MyDraw account” and “Deactivate license key”. Not sure what the difference is, first one is greyed out. Never got an option for “click Activate with MyDraw Account.” So directions are confusing if we already had a previous license. Near top of About… box, it says “Subscription to:” with no date appearing after that. So for those of you that got a year of free updates, congratulations. I’ll keep this new version since it’s newer than what I had, and easier than restoring my C: drive. Program still looks as useful as it was before. A bit of a learning curve but well worth it for the professional results.
One request, if the MyDraw people are reading this: it would be great to have Music templates, with various staff and tab notation. Bass or Treble clefs or others, and combinations of different clefs and tab notation. Adjust how many measures per line and how many lines per page. For tabs, adjust number of strings (3 for dulcimer, 4 for violin/mandolin, 4-5-6 for base, 5 for banjo, 6-7-8-9-10 for guitar), and so on. Or let us choose how many lines and type in the name of the instrument. Just being able to print customizable blank sheets for manually writing in music notation would be a very nice start. Creating forms like this (but not automated!) will be the first thing I try with this program.
LARRY KRUCKGuestIt said “Launch MyDraw and create a new blank drawing
Click the File menu and then About”
BUT there is NO File menu to click on so the program will not work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please add the File menu or tell us where to find it -
