To troubleshoot the issue please contact Pylonos Support at [email protected], providing screenshots and details of your system (Windows version, screen size, oMega window size, antiviruses, etc).

Dear Pylonos Representative,
Any idea why I am getting the following message on my win 10 64 bit comp: ” A required privilege is not held by the client” when trying to launch your program? I would like to try your program but, unfortunately, I cannot launch it. Is there a solution to this problem? I do not get such a message when installing other programs.

After having done some registry tweaks, I got it going. Hooray!

[@Peter] Are you aware Directory Opus still exists, has been ported to Windows long ago, and is one of the most revered alternate file explorers for PCs ? There’s no free edition, however, and the price is quite stiff. Worth a look anyway.
It’s actively developed, and there is a large ecosystem of resources.
I’ve used Norton Commander on DOS systems, and refused to switch to Windows until a friend’s teenage son told me about a similar program Total Commander. As an old-timer that still does not like to use a mouse, I still find it much easier to use than even the improved Win 10 File Explorer.
MAJOR QUESTIONS THAT [excuse me if I missed something] NOBODY ABOVE HAS YET ASKED OR ANSWERED:
Q1. Does Omega Commander work easily with cloud based storage [ Box, DropBox, OneDrive … both personal and business]?
Q2 Same question as Q1 for cloud based synchronizing software.
Q3 Same question as Q1 for windows Libraries
Finally 3 different Questions –
Q4 How does Omega Commander compare with Total Commander (not free, but inexpensive)
Q5 Can Omega Commander or any other commander respond well to voice commands? either built in to the program or with Dragon or Windows or Apple voice recognition?
Q6 Does Pylonos make a similar product for IOS, Android, Mac, Linux, Unix, etc?
