Version 14 is OLD.
New version is 15.Installed 64 bit version successfully. Use the download link in the email received from O&O Software with the License Key — not via the link from Sharewareonsale.

Thanks to DougvT. Was getting the same error, came here and saw his comment. Download and install from the link you are sent with your license code and it will work.
I installed this program a while ago and it caused me no end of trouble. For some unknown reason the program puts a null value in the registry which can only be for clandestine reasons. I suspect it caused corruption in my registry as some 3rd party software programs can’t handle null keys. The key in question is “HKLM\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\System. The only way to delete a null key is by using RegDelNull.exe from sysinternals dot com. Its a command line program, therefore in a dos box type “(full path)\RegDelNull.exe -s”. You will be prompted with y/n to delete key.
