2 – John,
You can make Backup.
We’ll have to copy the entire hard drive – do not know.It is better to do everything through the account.
Robert V JacobsonGuestbobjbklnGuestDoes anyone know if this version will restore archives created with earlier versions of Paragon Backup and Recovery?
RawDataGuestEvery now and then comes something interesting available on SoS, but this time all did not go well.
“Download size is 86 MB to 92 MB”? No, it’s more like 2MB only and it’s not made by Paragon Software.
I clicked a long bar clearly indicating “DOWNLOAD PARAGON BACKUP & RECOVERY 16 NOW”, but for some weird reason I’m served with something completely different. I did not click anything indicating “download this first/instead of what you want” and I’m not going to install anything offered in false pretense like this.I can make a wild guess that perhaps it’s some sort of “downloader”, but those are already in my black books. There are no good reasons for them and for poor download conditions there are much better choices. If SoS has been starting to use “downloaders”, the site is not going to be any use for me any more.
I’ve been enjoying and trusting SoS for long time and I’m thankful for Ashraf making such effort for bringing us so many great offers. Please, tell me this was just some sort of error instead of being a new feature of SoS! Pretty please?
JohnGuestI tried using the restore medium has anyone had issues as my restore medium does not work so if I had a catastrophic failure with my computer the recovery USB medium that Backup & Recovery 16 makes just simply will not function
John BeatfanGuestWhat the F**k? This program requires Internet Explorer 10 or newer. And because I don’t have the right version of IE, the installation was interrupted. Are you nuts? Why the hell do I need a newer version of IE to install backup and recovery software?
Steve GarryGuestDon’t bother. Move on to a product that works, as this product does NOT work on a recent Acer Laptop with the latest version of Win10, and has also messed up the loading and access to USB external discs, so it has been removed from my computer, and I will not be in any hurry to reinstall this or any other products from this source, there is just too much pain involved.
As for the product, the normal Windows interface doesn’t work, so you can’t paste a password into it, which is not exactly clever, and who came up with the colour scheme, light grey on darker grey is unreadable.
I tried running it, after some hassles, but there was no indication of progress, or if the backup has worked, or failed, or what was actually happening, that’s no good to me, I want to know that my backup is working, and that it is doing what it is supposed to be doing, and how long it’s going to take, and I got absolutely nothing to show what had happened, or if it had worked or failed. That’s no good to me.
I spent the better part of an hour trying to make this work, as I have a user who is desperate for a reliable backup product, but this is not it, far from it.
SaikoGuestI was somewhat surprised that it doesn’t install on Vista. Yes, the infobox says it requires Win7+, but many programs state this nowadays, and usually this is false, including demanding games (like Witcher 3 for example). Sometimes programs won’t work because they use a new kernel function, I can understand that. But Paragon Backup & Recovery errors because it lacks… Internet Explorer 10 (which is unavailable on Vista). I laughed at it, but it also rises my doubts about general quality of software. There is a difference between needing a low-level kernel function, say for memory management, and a hog like IE10.
Additionally, Paragon’s page was really slow, the browser (Opera in this case) was taking a whole CPU core for itself while navigating, and the page doesn’t work at all (on Firefox) if I block google-analytics. Shady.

RichUGuestDoes anyone know if this program changes the way Windows handles restore Points? (Assuming that Win10 still uses them.) Using Win10 64 bit. I used a Paragon software some time ago, that did change the restore point functionality to the point that when I had a crash and needed it, it could not restore. (Long time ago, so no relection on this offering)
Chuck W.GuestRunning a copy of a directory (large) and it will run for a while and then tell me that the program quit working… my only option is to close…. the destination directory is on a drive with about 2TB of free space…
Is there a log that will tell me what happens(ed)?
Chuck
robocop_300Guestla verdad que esta casa del paragon, deja mucho que desear, son un asco para registrarse, son un asco en este programa que requiere Internet explorer, la verdad, son una porquería!!!
xiloleeGuestHi everybody. :-)
The offer is still valid up to the 1st of December 2016 (on developer’s website).
PastorBradGuestAll 4 of these children were taken from their mother who doesn’t have custody and fled out of the county with them.
July 4th they left from Lost Angeles airport and their final destination was Paris France.
We do not know the whereabouts they may be now. They could be anywhere in the world.
