    HI,
Putting AI into software to do what the software already did without AI is a sensational innovation for commerce.

[@g2k1] I believe AI is to summarise the PDF file… just read the damned thing and you know what it said… why hand over your PDF documents contents to an LLM to scrape for for future reference? Keep your documents to yourself an your intended recipients… all documents need some anti-scrape by AI protection! As current AI is programmed to ignore all current restrictions on Intellectual Property and certainly does not seek permission before making illegal unauthorised copies of data scraped through spider crawling the web AND through documents submitted to it for an LLM’s statistically generated opinion on it as it adds it to its LLM database.

Installation was a bit convoluted as many are these days. No virus flag (Windows Defender).

Install on any number of computers, but a third running event will close the first one. Seems like we are being monitored, but does work offline. Don’t know yet what offline limitations there may be.

That said, the program itself is quite impressive. Not a power user, but converting files from PDF to others is my main use. Converted a torturous 614 page PDF with all kinds of graphics, font styles and colors. Took only a few minutes and rendered a perfect docx file. Too bad it’s only a 6 month license. They want like 65 dollars for a perpetual license.

Initially, I was not impressed with the registration process, or the general UI which I find to be too light grey and difficult to read and not enough contrast between functions. Unnecessarily difficult to make your way around.

I persevered however, and I just finished running a PDF of a fairly complex Word 2019 document which I was desperate to return to an editable condition (I had accidentally deleted the original somehow!).

At this stage I am happy to report that it has done a fantastic job! At first run though it has perfectly matched the original style definitions and everything so far has been accessible.

I had previously tried with at least a half a dozen other programs both locally and online with less than stellar results!

So far very pleased with this program. Thank you!
