I emailed the developer, asking “Does it index text files ahead of time, like X1?”
Waiting for reply.
X1 is amazing. Their motto “as fast as you type” is accurate. The results of searches are displayed instantly. That is the power of indexing.

Best thing to do, Richard, is get in touch with Vovsoft support. They should be able to walk you through it.
