it restarted my computer without my consent – I was out while it started full scan for the first time
It shows: You are fully Protected
software update up to date
but Full system scan -was never done because:connecting to Universal AV Scanner (=49.128.47.82 TCPView log shows as open and close x times)
error code: 12007 the server name or address could not be resolved

If it for work needs services in default + blank hosts file then I regret instalation…I believe there was some issues with their server. Their server should be more stable now so do try it again to see if it’s working. If not, drop them an email at [email protected]. They are usually responsive during their working hours ;)
I had this program from another offer and loved it, but noticed that it hasn’t been running lately. It looks like either SecureAPlus is flagging itself as bad, or something in Windows Vista doesn’t like it. No way to tell which. So I uninstalled it all with Revo, rebooted as the uninstaller requested. Deleted all related folders and old files. Then I ran the installer I got last night from SharewareOnSale. Same problem. No way to register since I can’t even get the program to run. Looks like I lost a good program, but I’ll try again while the offer is still available.
I hope others have better success, it really is a good approach for protection and takes few system resources to do its job.Good that you highlighted on this issue. Windows Vista can’t verify the new signature that comply with Windows 10. In this case, they will be doing some adjustments and releasing an update during the 1st week of April. If you are still keen on trying this software, it’s alright if you miss out on this giveaway, you can always use it for free for a year and do license extension through their referral program. You might want to follow them on Facebook to get updates about their next release :) They update their Facebook frequently.

I believe the instructions you have received are for the older version. What you should do was to launch SecureAPlus and click “Info & Licenses” and from there, you can see your SecureAPlus ID.
