When trying to install, the installer puts up the error “Internal error: DownloadTemporaryFile: Invalid Url value”.

I also had the same download problem as others have reported, and like others, downloading directly from SoftOrbits does solve that particular problem.

On the other hand, I am running Windows 11 Pro, and the software simply does NOT run on Win 11. It never fully loaded, and I could not find a compatibility mode to operate in. Given the demand that graphic applications put on a system, even one running an AMD Vega 10 GPU, I want a photo app that works with my computer and not fights against it.

So, back to the proverbial drawing board. Any ideas folks?

Faststone Image Viewer is freeware and my preference for quick, simple editing and such. It is compatible with Win11 but I am still on Win10 so have not tried it in that setting. Check it out at, not sure if I can post a link here so, Faststone (.org). I hope that helps.

To those of you who continue posting about the installation error, don’t you bother reading the previous comments before you post? I posted a work-around for that error yesterday!

I followed Mokrane’s advice: I downloaded the trial version of Photo Editor Pro from the SoftOrbits site, and installed it. The registration key provided by SharewareOnSale worked. That seems to be the best workaround.

I had the same error and also downloaded it from the SoftOrbits website which worked with the serial provided.

I was able to install it on my D: drive

Why don’t they just pull it down while they fix the install bug? Wasted all of our times.

I tried to install this on an earlier giveaway and again today. Unable to install “invalid URL value”. I also tried a manual download, same problem. Fix it or stop listing it.

Today and on a prior date I tried to install as administrator and “invalid URL value”. Abort. Tried a manual download. NOT. Fix it or please stop listing this.
