I registered and it says that I’ll 2GB to use a month? That seems very low… I could see if that was for mobile use but not for a computer.

Pretty much anything to do wih Steganos is a rip off. Specially when you decide to uninstall their so called free products. It leaves behind registry problems galore. For the avid user who can edit a registry not too much of an issue, but to the layman. a giant issue. It also puts ad’s in place of the correct registry items. Total B.S. from this company. My advise steer clear.. As for recommending a better v.p.n. or dns proxy. Haven’t found one yet they doesn’t eat all your bandwidth in order to so called PROTECT YOU.. It’s the luck of the draw. Besides if someone really wanted to hack you, they will. It’s just a matter of time. You may not be in the geographical local thats targeted today, but just wait for a while. You will probably be hit in some way or another. It’s Murphy’s Law…..Also, for the record, if I have to answer weather or not I’m a robot to enter comments, then this sight isn’t safe either….lmao such a society we live in…

I am so glad I checked the reviews here first.
Above average VPN. Option to block adds, delete cookies, and more settings that many VPNs don’t have. 2gb p/month is ok but low. StackSocialDOTcom has WindscribeVPN Lifetime for 40 US Dollars. Some accts are around 50gb per month.
WindscribeVPN free acct gives you 10gb monthly at “windscribeDOTcom/signup”.
FreedomeVPN by Steganos at “Windows deals dot com” gives you Unlimited Data for free. Freedome has option to block WebRTC connection which gives you more Privacy browsing the World Wide Web.
So 2gb, 10gb, or Unlimited is the ones available at the moment.

Wow, it doesn’t seem it works.
I have disabled windows firewall completely and disabled the hosts file and still it won’t connect.
Does steganos online shield vpn developers read here?
Or must I contact their support?
Okayfreedom (by steganos) also doesn’t work.

Honestly, I didn’t use it so much…
Now I’m going to try to uninstall and reinstall (if I’m allowed to…) okayfreedom and see if it works.[@mark dunbar] I agree with you. I’ve had bad experiences with this and their OkayFreedom (mentioned below by xilolee) and other software from them. They are all a pain to get rid off, leaving registry entries and changing other ones. I mentioned similar points to this in a review on this site.
Keep well clear of anything from this company. It took a good deal of time to clean up and re-set things after their softwares had messed things up

I completed the Steganos download, and went to the website link you provided (both directly and thru Google translate), but each time I enter my e-mail address and click the button to get my registration code, I get errors. If I used the direct URL link, I get: Secure Connection Failed, The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading. The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.
If I use the Google translate version of the URL link, I get: 400. That’s an error. Your client has issued a malformed or illegal request. That’s all we know.
Can you help me out on this, since the time remaining on this “sale” is “Sale ends in 7 hours 37 mins 56 secs.”
