the link does not work I get trust issues although I have tagged a trusted site for this app.
Good Morning, I am trying to download today’s SharewareonSale which is Thundersoft Gif Maker. I am not able to download this to completion because I am getting Failed-Virus Detected. Microsoft Essentials Security says that it is cleaning it but I am unable to complete the download.
Thank you in advance for your help.My computer had alarm bells ringing when I tried to open and install this app.
Virus RiskI read the above comments about trust issues and I too am getting “Microsoft Defender SmartScreen couldn’t verify if this file is safe because it isn’t commonly downloaded. Make sure you trust the file you’re downloading or its source before you open it.” However, ever since MS did an update 3 months ago, I get this dang popup whenever I try and download most zip files, and it is getting annoying.
OK now I see what the talk is about. Microsoft Defender is not the only anti-virus throwing up red flags about a virus detected. Dumping this file as quickly as possible and doing full scan.
