Most confusing, illogical and incomprehensible download procedure ever encountered. More than 30 minutes spent and no software. BTW, it is the 2001 version. The frustration is so high you may as well play something else. If getting Trainz is this obtuse, the game operation must be incomprehensible. Click on by. ©2016

As a teenager, I rode a train from Chattanooga, TN to Chicago, IL each summer to visit my Mother. Of course, I did not appreciate the singularity of the experience until I was much older.
Ok…. Tried to get this 1st time, got the ‘sold out’ message. Now I try it again and the whole (long) process sends me around in a circle. Claims ‘getting download ready’ with no evidence of it. I’d really like to give this a try, but this whole (time wasting) process is about to make me give up. FIX IT !!
Screwed around with this for 30 minutes (trying to download it!!!!). Login, enter info, login again, go to cart. Login, enter billing info. Never did get around to actually getting the program. Others have mentioned it is an old program, so sometimes things just work out for the best. If TRAINZ can’t even figure out an easier way to GIVE this away, they don’t really want to give it away. I’m done wasting my time with this or that “company”.
Shareware on sale recently offered Trainz v1 for free.I forgot I had a username and password for this site. By the time you sent me the info, the sale was over. I really wanted the game. Is there anyway I can still get this software?
