This depends on your firewall. The software has to communicate with our server for activation (only for a second).

the software should run on your laptop very well. Desktop filter means a filter which is for copying looks from desktop apps and not from mobile apps. But the mobile filter es very good (in many cases even better) for copying looks from desktop apps.

Unlimited Filters is not a RAW converter. It is more for creating and managing Looks. With the versatile LUT formats you can use these Looks in professional photo and video apps.
Nonetheless we will support many RAW formats in one of the next updates.
