    I have now dl’d 4 times. copied the license key each time to notepad. When presented with the registration page I manually typed in the information from the notepad. (paste would not work on registration page) gave me an error notice each time (ref: license key)

    The created clone is not meant to be a second system.
    it’s to replace the the existing system in case of failure.
    The clone is tied to your system – hardware and software
    and if you take the ” old” drive out and replace it with the clone,
    then there will be no need to input any Windows lic key.

    Hence, don’t leave the clone in your computer or connected to it..
