[@Alain] You don’t need to enter all of this. Go to the gear in the main window and click. Select enter license and paste the given license. Done. You will get a message right away that the license is valid!

Grrrrr. “Microsoft Edge Webview2 Runtime” has to be installed. Grrrr….

VENDOR: You should show the courtesy to inform people BEFORE installation, not after.Of course steals FFMPEG.ORG intellectual property it is illegal to download it and illegal to offer it for download as the FFMPEG binaries have patented non-free code compiled in and is illegal to distribute beyond the person that compiled it with the nonfree switch enabled.

[@TK] Minor correction, zd-soft have changed the build of FFMPEG.EXE and FFPROBE.EXE to GPLv3 still completely illegal to distribute as part of a closed source product. They need to use the switch to enable LesserGPLv3 license and not the GPLv3 license and they need to include copies of the GPLv3 and LGPLv3 license documents AND GIVE prominent attribution to FFMPEG.ORG project and developers which they are not. They use FFMPEG binaries to perform the initial video capture and because it’s a 32bit program there may be problems with capture even though the main program is 64bit.
Grabbed this giveaway once upon a time and was using this program for pretty long. Unfortunately I uninstalled it at some moment and then could not re-register it. So I was waiting for it to appear as a giveaway once again and here it is! Installed and registered, no problem. I have tried some other programs like this, and for me this one is the most convenient. Thanks for this giveaway.
I am also having the same issue of not being able to register this software. I keep getting this error message:
“NETWORK ERROR OR SERVICE UNAVAILABLE. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER.” I have installed, then uninstalled to clear out any old leftovers from a previous version, which BTW, was overwritten by this versoin despite directly the installation to a different folder. So now I have no screen recorder and I have tried multiple times to register this software without any success. I’ve never had this issue with any software Ashraf provides for us until now and not very happy about it. :( Any help figuring out why this is happening would be greatly appreciated!First, of the many screen recorders I’ve used over many years, this is the one I use.
Program installed and ran. Asked for license key when I exited, key accepted. Always a risk replacing an older version, especially when installer doesn’t warn that it will do that, so I’m glad to see it all worked.
UI is very different, more features. It took a bit to find things. I liked the simplicity of the older version but hopefully I’ll get used to the new one quickly. One thing scared me, it created a new folder for videos, so when I checked if my old videos could be accessed the program didn’t find them. They were still on my drive, in the old location. I also can’t figure out why they needed to redesign the main program bar, making the File Folder, Settings, Minimize and Exit icons small and hidden until you mouse over them. I use at least 2 of them every time I use the program, yet the Timer icon is bigger and always shown and I have rarely used it. Kind of like how so many programs these days hide the scroll bar and slider control, and require positioning mouse within a narrow (1 or 2 pixels?) spot to activate it. Devs are so much more concerned with appearance than function and it needlessly slows us down and adds frustration.
