I’m having the same problem as others – I downloaded the program and did install but my email for registration didn’t go through so I don’t have an activation code. I’ve contacted Zoner support with the info and hopefully they can resolve, but this appears to be a common problem. I hope we can resolve this as this is a very nice product and very good of them to give it to us.
Didn’t activate for me.
Activate failed.
To do so:
1. Set the folder:
C: \ Program Files \ Zoner \ Photo Studio 172. opened and offered to conduct email
3. Fill in the field,
opened the program
but the menu
“PRO Not logged”
there is no information that this PRO
(In 16 versions – clearly shows that the version PRO)[@Ivan]
I will addThat’s, does not want to activate, I decided to reinstall.
I removed using Revouninstalle and reinstalled.
But second time is no longer asked to fill in a field email.
I do not know how to beZPS Is certainly the best tool to manage pictures BUT ACTIVATION DO NOT WORKS

@Everyone: Not sure what went wrong. I’m contacting Zoner to get this fixed. This worked when I tested it before running this promo.
@Everyone: I’ve talked with Zoner and looks like there is a bit of confusion that is causing issues.
The way this giveaway works, it automatically activates itself after you enter your email address. You know your version is activated if it says “PRO” next to “Not logged in” in the top-right corner. Because this giveaway has no license key, if you try and log into your Zoner account, you will get a message that there is no license key. Ignore that message. Just make sure it says “PRO” in the top-right corner to the left of “Settings”.

This download is working correctly and registering correctly. There have been some misunderstandings expressed in this thread.
Registering with your email DOES AND SHOULD:
* Let you into your Zoner Photo Studio 17. (Without it, you can’t start the program.)
* Automatically make it the PRO Edition…
…which you can tell because…
…you see the word “PRO” at the top of the ZPS 17 window. **All activated PRO Editions of ZPS 17 show this. Nothing else does. If you see it,you are 100% using the activated, full PRO Edition.**Registering with your email DOESN’T:
* Make a “license code,” “registration number,” etc. come to you. ***You do not need a code, and so we do not send one.*** A code is normally needed to activate the program, but the giveaway is already activated, so none is needed, so none is sent.
* Make the “Login” items in the program go away. ***THESE ARE NOT ABOUT LOGGING INTO ZPS 17. THERE IS *NO SUCH THING* AS A LOGIN TO ZPS 17. THESE ARE ABOUT LOGGING INTO THE FREE ZONERAMA WEB GALLERY SERVICE. LOG IN TO ZONERAMA IF YOU WANT – IT’S FREE AND IT *DOES NOT REQUIRE* A LICENSE CODE, JUST A ZONER ACCOUNT. WHICH IS FREE.***

Like with many software titles, when an upgrade is offered I never know if it’s best to install over the old version, or uninstall the old first.

Either way is fine. It’s harmless to uninstall the old version, and it’s harmless to keep it. Uninstall it to save a little space. Thanks for the good info. As I understand, the new version will install in its own folder & have its own entry in the uninstall list next to the older version and dumping the old version later won’t compromise the new version.

I find that I am using Zoner more and more in preference to Photoshop or Lightroom, but it does lack some features.
Two lacking features that have recently forced to back to using Photoshop are a spherizing filter and a correction for moire.
