Do you want to know what day you should turn your bulls out to calve on a certain date? Or what day your cows will calve based on the bull turnout date? This app, designed for veterinarians and beef cattle producers by a veterinarian, allows a user to calculate those specific dates as well as the dates for other herd health practices. The app is also capable of sharing this herd health calendar with others through email or text messaging.

By inputting the desired calving date or breeding date as well as the length of the breeding period, the app calculates
-the due date of the first calf
-when the first day of breeding should occur
-when the bulls should be removed
-when cows can be preg checked or ultrasounded to age the fetuses
-when the bulls should be semen checked
-when pre-breeding shots should be done
-the day when the oldest calf is 205 days

In a short moment, all these dates can be calculated and then shared with others. As a veterinarian, this could be your clients to help determine the time frame for herd work. For a producer, this could be others within your operation to keep everyone on the same page.
