Over De Druivelaar
De Druivelaar is met zijn 101ste editie nog steeds helemaal mee met zijn tijd. Het was de Zwevegemse drukker René Nuttin die de scheurkalender in 1915 voor het eerst op de markt bracht. De naam komt van de grote wijnstok die toen in zijn veranda stond. Omdat Nuttin geen opvolger had, liet hij De Druivelaar aan het begin van de Tweede Wereldoorlog over aan Drukkerij Strobbe in Izegem, die de scheurkalender sinds 1942 samenstelt en verkoopt. Alleen in 1944 verscheen de kalender niet door de papierschaarste en het gebrek aan personeel als gevolg van de oorlog.
De editie 2016 bevat traditioneel vele spreuken, talloze moppen en vaste rubrieken.

About Druivelaar
