Reviews for RoboForm Everywhere
I have been using RoboForm for over 10 years with NO problems. This is the only installed on software that I have never had no problems. Wish many other software programs were this reliable. Yes there are a FEW sites will not allow you to use a password server like roboform. I only have encountered this on the CITI site. But the username and password are displayer in upper right of page.
CONCLUSION: This is the most easy program to install and use on a PC. You will be happy with this product.
I’ve used RoboForm for 10 years but recently uninstalled it for StickyPassword. I suspect that RoboForm was sold a couple of years ago because the quality really took a nosedive. If you’re using Chrome RoboForm is all but useless. Many sites it simply doesn’t recognize and won’t provide the username and password. If you don’t happen to remember them you have to open up RoboForm and hunt them down and manually insert them. I finally got sick of it, especially near renewal time., so I decided on StickyPassword. It works very similar to RoboForm and in some instances does a much better job, and in others falls a little short. Overall I’m very satisfied with StickyPassword’s performance. RoboForm also made a backup software you should stay away from too.

I had a similar experience with roboform. I used it for MANY years, but it began to decline over time until it took more time to use it than it saved. Their backup process became a cruel useless joke. Same for the other products from the company.
It’s a shame really. It was a very good utility until they couldn’t keep up with the market.
With increase in number of online accounts each person has and uses on daily basis, it has become challenging to remember password for all the different websites. That is one of the major reason, why password managers have gained popularity. Using same passwords on all accounts, or using different easy passwords on them is not a safe practice. For this reason, password managers can now generate, store and automatically fill out passwords for users across all their online accounts. There are many password managers available, but not all work the same.
RoboForm Everywhere is a password manager application that integrates in your browsers, and help you securely store and manage your passwords, login information, bokmarks, and more in a safe environment protected by a master password.
Installation & Set-up
The installer for Windows is ~21MB in size and the installation process is simple and straightforward, that does not take long to complete. You need to create an account with your email and master password, or you can login with your existing account. There is an option to adjust proxy settings, if you are using any. After creation and logging in, it connects to your account and syncs any data present. The installer automatically installs the browser extensions for browsers like Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Opera. Once done, you can start using this application to save and protect your passwords and login information.
User Interface
The UI of this application is different compared to other password manager applications, which is not a bad thing, considering it is still easy to use and navigate through. It may require novice users some time and effort to get used to it though. On the left panel, there are eight categories of different data that you can store with this application. These are, namely Logins, Bookmarks, Applications, Identities, Contacts, Safenotes, All, and Shared. Right next to this panel, is an area that shows folder tree and a search bar that let’s you search. The rest of the area displays the selected item’s information and lets you edit the item’s details.
Pros
-Available on Windows, Mac OS, Android, and iOS
-Great browser plug-ins automatically detect and remember your passwords.
-Password generator can be used to generate strong and unique passwords. Password strength meter shows you how strong the password is.
-One click logins to websites from the browser plug-in.

-AES256 bit encryption with PBKDF2 SHA256, to protect against dictionary, brute force, and other attacks.
-Backup and sync passwords across all browsers and devices.
-Import and export stored data.
-Ability to share passwords and login information securely.
-Emergency Access let’s you choose a trusted contact obtain access to your RoboForm Data in the event of death, disability, or simply as a method of account recovery.

Cons
-Interface can be a bit confusing, especially for new users.
Conclusion
RoboForm Everywhere is a great application, that comes packed with powerful tools, to help secure all your passwords, login information, and more. Browser plug-ins, context menu integration, one click login, and automatic password saving are a few features that would really help enhance your browsing experience and make it more secure. The service works seamlessly across multiple devices using a single license. It is definitely worth trying, if you are looking for a password manager.
Roboform everywhere works OK, although it does have the occasional problem with sites. I’ve been a subscriber for three years now.
However, should you require tech support, be aware that their people who answer those requests are rude and obnoxious, approach your issue as if you were a blithering idiot, and after their first (and for me incorrect) suggestion, ramp that obnoxiousness up to a level that is amazing to behold in an apparent effort to just have you go away. I’ve had two experiences with them in this regard, and both have been truly awful.
My annual renewal is coming up shortly, and I’m investigating other solutions. I don’t think that sort of attitude should be rewarded by giving them more money. The email under which I posted this review is NOT the email that has the account.
You have been warned.

I don’t understand the above post at all. I have been a Roboform user for more than 7 years. I currently have Roboform Everywhere. I have used it in Spain, France, and Italy with no problems whatsoever. For any issue that I have had, tech support has almost always responded within 4 hours. I have never had an issue go un-responded to for more than 24 hours. Obnoxiousness is a word that I would never use for the tech support group. I currently have 246 logins – some with multiples like 3 Gmail accounts – and have never had problems unless the site changes their login procedure whereupon I merely reestablish the new login and Roboform saves the new procedure. I know that some reviewers have not rated Roboform as highly as others. However when I can show my wife, who is not a computer wizard by any stretch, (and I will punish severely the person who tells her I told you), how to use Roboform in about 5 minutes, l can assure you this is an easy, reliable program to use.
Sounds like you might want to try https://bitwarden.com/ I came from using LastPass for 8 years and had a good gander around the fair password manager marketplace. It’s open source, which in my book is a big plus when it comes to any security software. Especially the one that, having just checked, holds the 843 keys to my “digital life” (almost all now randomly generated of course). Been using it for more than a year and I am very pleased with it.
Today I tried both Roboform and Lastpass, to see if Roboform has improved, or if Lastpass is better than it. I had used Roboform a lot in the distant past, and Keepass more recently. When I installed a fresh copy of Windows, and didn’t get around to reinstalling Keepass, I used Google Chrome’s password filler.
After trying the most recent version of Roboform today, and Lastpass, I’ve uninstalled Roboform and am about to uninstall Lastpass, and go back to Keepass, except that this time I might try KeepassX instead of Keepass.
Roboform won’t login to the Citi credit cards website. Lastpass will. Lastpass also has more features, but some of them don’t always work exactly the way they should. There are some situations where Lastpass will get confused about which button is the login button, and click the wrong one, which can lead to amusing results. In general, Lastpass seems to have more features and options and is generally more automatic than Roboform, but Roboform seems to have fewer bugs/quirks if you don’t count the Citi credit cards website, where Roboform seems completely unable to login. And, for all I know, there might be other websites with the same problem. In any case, I’ve uninstalled Roboform, and am about to uninstall Lastpass, and go back to using Keepass. But this time I might try KeepassX instead of Keepass.
The big disadvantage of Keepass vs Roboform and Lastpass is that you have to do more work to set it up. But it has a lot of flexibility, and you can set it up to make it do all your logins smoothly without the bugs/quirks of Roboform and Lastpass. But be warned that you aren’t going to understand all the features at first, and that’s going to limit how well Keepass works for you. Once you know Keepass well, you can make it work for you better than the others, if you don’t mind how much work it is to set it up. If you don’t have any Citi credit cards, and want to limit the amount of work you have to do to set it up, Roboform is probably the best for you. Lastpass has more features, but can be made very automatic, and generally is very little work for the amount of features it has. But I want mine to work perfectly everywhere, which is why I’m going back to Keepass, and will probably spend hours setting it up exactly the way I want it.

I’ve been using lastpass for years and have never had a problem with it logging in the wrong page, you probably have wrong webpage saved.
Like you, I’ve used Roboform for many years, and with a few exceptions, it performs flawlessly across all my devices. For Citi cards, Roboform tends to fill in the user name as the first few characters, followed by *** then the last few characters, which Citi doesn’t recognize. If you tell Roboform to fill and then simply click on the filled username, it will revert to the correct username and log you in just fine.
Works great, also smooth intergration between MACs, ios and PCs. Much easier than trying to remember all of the various passwaords for every site!
RoboForm Everywhere is built to be a practical solution for the troubles we go through everyday trying to remember passwords for our online accounts. The software allows for password sync across different devices and provides a fair balance between security and convenience. You can install it in your Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Android and sync the data seamlessly.
Ease of Use
Using the RoboForm universal installer, you will be prompted to create a RoboForm Desktop account or create a RoboForm Everywhere subscription that you will associate with the desktop application. During the process, the software prompts you to create two passwords, one for the online account and another for logging into the application. Although you can use one password for both, two will be more secure.
RoboForm Desktop edition works normally on your PC, but its data is on the cloud to be made accessible when using other devices. Unlike its major competitors, Dashlane and LastPass, syncing data between devices is totally free in RoboForm!
RoboForm works well when you are filling in web forms. However, during log in, it doesn’t put info where it is supposed to. Additionally, it handles logins awkwardly and doesn’t capture password changes. Sometimes it misses capturing data when you sign up on a new website.
Pros
If you need to access your most-used sites easily, you can set your browser homepage to the RoboForm start page. It even adds a toolbar that allows for fast generation of strong passwords. It also offers an option to use fingerprint authentication and smartcards, but these are only applicable on devices with special hardware. If you want to stop using the software altogether, you can delete your account and not leave any data floating around.
It has a one-time password feature on the security tab that allows to add device authentication. This feature allows devices to access passwords without using a master password, which is a bit frightening. Should you lose your device, you can delete it from the authentication feature in your online account.
Cons
You can share logins securely but RoboForm doesn’t hide the actual passwords when you set up two-way syncing. Surprisingly, it didn’t provide a password strength indicator! Unlike Dashlane, you can’t change passwords automatically. When you log in to RoboForm Everywhere, it only allows you to copy passwords and not automatically log in to accounts like the desktop application. Although they have a bookmarklet to save your recently used passwords, it is not user-friendly.
Conclusion
RoboForm isn’t a poor choice for a password manager, but it slightly lags behind Dashlane and LastPass. I’d recommend it for your password management activities as long as you use features such as one-time password carefully.

What’s said in the “cons” is not necessarily accurate, unless you’re using “Edge” as your browser of choice (it doesn’t allow extensions or toolbar helper applets). I use Google Chrome as primary and Firefox or IE as my secondary. Roboform has a brower helper applet that allows you to browse a list of your logins and login to any one of them in the “same” or a “new” window. I’ve been using Roboform for over a decade. I not only keep track of my passwords but also store other information as “safenotes” that I can access for vital information I need from time to time. Whoopdee do for Dashlane for giving folks a visual for determining password strength, but I don’t need a visual for 12-15 character (alpha/numerica/symbols) passwords to know that they’re pretty strong …. and Roboform is less expensive. I also don’t understand the “cons” comment re: “you can’t change passwords automatically”… huh? Any time I change a password on any given site for which I have a login password, Roboform automatically asks if I want to save and update my login password.
Greetings. I’ve been using Roboform for more than five years. You misunderstand, at least, one of its features.
The “One Time Password” (OTP) feature is an very good, added security measure that makes Roboform (RF) MORE secure, not less. If you choose to use this feature, you first must choose an email address or another device to which RF will send a randomly-generated One-Time Password for verification ANYTIME there is an attempt to access ANY of your RF data from a new or unrecognized device. It is a GREAT additional security measure because: You MUST enter the correct Master Password BEFORE Roboform even attempts sending the demand for the OTP.
In addition, while it may be convenient to have a password manager automatically change you passwords, it could create a DISASTER. If, for example, you have many devices from which you use the manger and allow it to automatically change your password while using one of those devices and then lose access to that device due to loss, theft or system crash before syncing the changed data with one or more of your other devices, there will be no way to recover that data. You will be locked out of ALL accounts related to those changed passwords.
EDIT: You CAN have Roboform complete complex web forms by using its “Identities” feature. Additionally, you CAN use it to fill forms and to provide logons in desktop applications.
Roboform Desktop DOES NOT store any information in the Cloud. All data remains encrypted and only on your computer in (the default) My Documents\My Roboform Data folder.
If you choose the portable version, Roboform2GO, you can store your information on a USB stick, for example, and sync its data with the Desktop.
If you choose Roboform Everywhere, then your data resides on your computer, USB devices, portable devices AND Roboform’s Servers .
I think you need to give this application another, more careful look.
This is an excellent product. I have been using it for years and it works perfectly. I currently use it on a Mac and PC without a hitch.

Can you use it for logging in to the Citibank credit cards website? I can’t.
