Reviews for TunesKit Audio Capture
Installs from a 20mb file quickly and without problems. It will load active browsers. You can simply add further applications by navigating to the launcher/exe in program files or it’s shortcut,,,,for example, Spotify, Deezer, Tidal etc. A plethora of options for recording format and quality are available. As I was using Tidal (which offers Hi-Res files, I set Tuneskit capture to Flac at 24/48. When you launch the app and hit an icon in the main pane it will launch that application under it’s control. Simply go to a song and hit play and tuneskit begins to record it in real time. When you hit stop it closes the streaming app and prompts you to save the results in your designated folder.
Pros…I like my music and quality is important to me. The results are actually very impressive. Of course, because the app is using the output from your Pc’s sound card it’s only going to be as good as that. But, in most cases that’s going to be enough even for discerning listeners. It also grabs the titles of Artist/Album etc.
Cons. You can record entire albums and playlists but unless you hit pause at the end of each track and then play for the next, it will record the entire thing as a single continuous file tagged under the initial track’s name.
So… fast, flexible and with impressive results. I like it;.
Didn’t work with portable Chrome and half of the other applications I used.
Crashed a half dozen times, and provided far less tools and settings then I am use to.
As a long time user of fairstar audio recorder which cost less I overall found TunesKit to be lack luster in every aspect besides how nice it’s UI looks.
