Welcome to Jouncey World 1. A single player game with no social media connections and no in game purchases. There are currently 14 levels in 3 different game modes. Each mode changes the rules making Jouncey a unique experience in each mode! Free upgrades to World 2 and World 3 as they become available.
I challenge you to complete all 3 modes!
Freeplay: (Easy) "Invincibility" Jouncey does not die and does not run out of Energy. This mode is great for the casual player who simply wants to experience the entire game without any advanced features to worry about. Simply collect as many points as you can as fast as you can. Use this mode as a training ground for Arcade.
Arcade: (Intermediate) For a more challenging and rewarding experience, play this mode. You start with 3 Jouncers. Heal Jouncey by touching it, attack enemies with touch also. Lose all your Jouncers and it is Game Over! Use this mode to train for Adventure Mode.
Adventure: (Hard) Same as Arcade Mode with one BIG exception, this is a one way ticket with one life to live at the start. Unlike the other two game modes, there are hidden treasure rooms throughout which you discover by exploring every nook and cranny. Each treasure room is loaded with points to score and Jouncers to free. Each one designed in a retro arcade style, some are even playable mini-games apart from the main adventure. You can save and quit at any time coming back to continue where you left off. Once you lose all Jouncers, it's Game Over, time to start a new adventure. No replaying of unlocked levels.
Controls:
Tilt to manipulate earth gravity in game to guide Jouncey and control certain dangers in the environment. Touch the screen to produce a large ball of GEnergy to heal Jouncey, hurt enemies and convert REnergy.
Tips: Leave the game guide and interactive tutorial enabled on your first time playing. Everything you need to know in order to achieve the highest possible scores and enjoy every detail put in to Jouncey is included in the game guide and tutorial. Jouncey is unlike any game you’ve played before.
Backstory:
Jouncey comes from the surface of a planet engorged with nature and natural energies. Jouncey is a bouncy creature and by its own nature is designed to disperse and transfer energies of all kinds. Surface life is safe; except for the Machines that occasionally visit to harvest Jouncers.
Jouncey finds itself trapped and the only way out is to leave the surface of the planet and descend to where the ancient machines continue to operate.
The Ancient machines are the remnants of an old forgotten race. The machines are slowly becoming self‐aware and trying to discover their makers and their history. One thing they've learned is that the natural world decays and destroys them so they have setup protective barriers and an underground existence free from the harmful effects of nature.
In order to further develop themselves, they have been trapping and collecting various forms of life, Jouncey's form being the most versatile integration.
It’s up to you to keep Jouncey alive. Without you Jouncey will fall to the bottom and have all its life energy drained by the hostile and unforgiving environment where the very walls it bounces off are slowly killing it.
