Description

Pass statistics is an application suitable for collecting the passing and shooting data during a football match. By using this app, you can make passing and shooting charts and track the success rate of passes and shots on an individual, group or whole team level. Therefore, with the help of this app you can create similar statistics from your matches than those typically shown only in the postgame analysis of professional football matches.

It is a great tool for...
- coaches for analyzing the game.
- giving detailed feedback to players about their performance.
- scouts or spectators to collect data from players/match.
- parents to help their kids to develop as players.

Application has two operating modes: Player stats and Team stats.

Player stats is based on the touchscreen feature. You tap the starting point and the ending point of the pass or the shot. After tapping the ending point you define the success of the event. As a result, you will simultaneously collect the data from the both. After you finish the data collection you get the pass chart, shot chart and success rates of all passes and shots. Passing stats are divided by the direction and the area where the player passed. This is the key feature of this application. The directions and the areas give much more detailed data than just their success rates.

Player stats is designed for collecting individual data from one player, but it can also be used for small groups of players. Therefore, you can also collect the data for example from both of your centre midfielders, or you can use it for a certain part of the game (such as your build up play). In theory, you can also make passing chart from your whole team but then you need to be pretty fast at tapping. There is a lot of options how you can use this app and basically your imagination and your tapping speed is the only thing that sets up the limits.

Team stats is designed for collecting the success rates of shots and passes on a whole team level. (Of course you can use this mode also for individual data or for a certain part of the game or certain players.) It uses + and – keys for both passes and shots. It is faster to use and therefore allows collecting passing and shooting data from the whole team. After you finish tapping you get the data in form of their count and success rate. Passes are divided in three thirds of the pitch (own third, middle third and attacking third). Therefore, Pass Statistics enables you to get detailed data about where the passes were successful and where they were not. You can also keep track of the score.

After ending the data collection, you can save the data from the both modes in your database. You just give a name to the data file and you can open them later. You can share the data by taking screenshots of the charts and the statistics and share it in social media, e-mail or whatever way you want.
