With Cult of the Month, you’ll get a fresh new religious identity on the 23rd day of each month. We’ll send you all the pertinent information on how best to live up to the standards and beliefs of each of these fascinating and diverse expressions of religious individualism and control, plus some fascinating background info on the history of each and every cult!

Remember, there’s no obligation to keep any particular belief, and members are, at all times, expected to mix and match the beliefs that best suit them at the given moment. You’re a card-carrying member of the cult of the month, so you can do whatever you like!

If at any time you wish to stop receiving updates, for instance if you’ve attained satori, joined a particularly philosophically-jealous PTA, or are running for public office in a theocracy, you may simply uninstall the app and go back to being a normal member. If that’s not enough enough for you, simply write “I wish to resign from the Cult of the Month” on a piece of currency, sign and date (please use indelible ink, or etch in case of coins) and then spend that piece of currency. It will make its way back to the organization, and you’ll be removed from the registration list of every sentient being (and some cetaceans). Note - this precludes you from all Cult of the Month-sponsored events, soirees, seances, and ice cream socials.

The Moon of Earth is the Sacred Symbol used to represent Cult of the Month. We have already taken the liberty of marking many of your calendars with the appropriate information in relation to Moon Cycles. A personal goal of The Right Reverend [REDACTED] Richards is for he and his family to take a family vacation driving around the Moon. He also wants to ride a Moon Cycle and get some serious vacuum off a crater lip while listening to a particular cover of Midnight Rider. The Moon will also be the location of a Future MessiahComplex.
