Now with ScanScore, it has. In seconds, ScanScore lets you scan printed and digital sheet music for playback and further processing in another program. But that’s not all. Once you’ve scanned your music, you can also make edits and corrections to the notes. And with ScanScore 2, you can even transpose them.

What you can do with ScanScore

All you do is download the ScanScore software, scan the sheet with your preferred scanning method and let it play the notes for you. That will help you to practice your voice or your instrumental solo before an orchestra or choir rehearsal.

Don’t stop at just listening to the music… You can also transpose the whole score or just single staves directly in ScanScore. Just change the key and make it easier to play or sing along. Of course you can print your transposed score with just a few clicks.

You can export your notes (at the click of a button) to almost any music program via the MusicXML interface. Then you can edit everything you need… as well as simplify, add in or change instruments, change the layout and much more!
