The ALL versions and the XP 32Bit ISOs are both identical size, so I would not mind feedback as to whether we should only create the ALL version ?
And if the answer is yes, why are they offering a long list of OS choices ?

I registered the program, and the only indication that I had done that, was the Register button bottom left, has gone.
When I went to create the bootable CD, it asked for the registration information again.
One might wonder, what will happen if any of you downloaders, don’t create the bootable CD before the expiry time (2 hours from now) ?

    I have installed it.
I hope you are all creating a bootable CD ?
I notice there is a choice for the target PC
(There is also a choice for which version of Windows PE is to be used, but I am not referring to that choice)
I have created an ISO without choosing the target type.
And I will now try creating one with XP as the target
And perhaps also a Win 7 target
Anyone else gone through this thought process ?
Which targets did you choose ?
Are they all the same ?
    What happens if we . . . . .

This looks a very good app, indeed so much so I’ve ordered the Lifetime Upgrades version. Too good a price to miss.

This software will not accept the register code serial number. I copied and pasted and was sure no spaces at begining or end (tried this many times). I also manually typed in the serial number and it still will not register. Mr. Boss, should I re-download this software to get a different license code?

I also recommend Remo Recover. It is fast, efficient and is a result oriented application at the same time. It also makes use of a read-only algorithm that makes it the most preferred.

[@Fred Tailor] Fred, I think there is some confusion.

Both the original download link and the mirror download link are of the same file — lsrspdsetup.exe, which is Lazesoft Recovery Suite Professional Edition (today’s giveaway). I’m not sure where you got it (maybe from the developer’s website) but lsrshsetup.exe is Lazesoft Recovery Suite Home Edition, a program that is always free and not today’s giveaway.

The registration info we’ve given you will (should) work with lsrspdsetup.exe — I’ve tested it myself.

    Hope that helps.

Just fyi y’all, the mirror download site requested by some and set up by “Mr Boss” is not the Free Lazesoft Recovery Suite Professional Edition (100% discount). The download is for Lazesoft Recovery Suite 3.5 Professional Edition(55% off for a limited time only) File name is lsrspdsetup.exe @ 61 k as opposed to the 27+k for lsrshsetup.exe @ 26+ k for the totally free one as offered here.
I used the “mirror” site to d/load the app which did not register, hence my earlier question asking how to get the Reg key etc., However, thank you to Lazesoft and SoS for the great freebie.

On the SoS website – is anyone else having this problem? Whenever I look at a product page, there is text and an arrow icon, on a transparent background, laid over the first several lines of the product description (to the left of the share buttons). This makes the product description unreadable. When I hover over the arrow, I can see it’s an ad for Carbonite. Is this happening to you? Any idea what’s going on or how to fix? Thanks. (this happens on Firefox 30.0 on Windows 7 64bit, but not on Chrome).

    [@rob] [@subsequent] [@Greg M] Welcome!

[@Giovanni] [@kostas] [@Fred] There are a couple of differences as pointed out by SoS Lover but you are right — there aren’t too many differences. Rather, if you opt to purchase the pro version, it would be for the guarantee of new features in the future and to support the developer.

    [@Fred] Thanks for the purchase!

    Reply to this comment#30

Already found it. Difference is really neglible. Pro version can fix missing bootloader home cannot.
I guess i´ll buy the pro anyway (cause it´s kinda cheap and) to support the company and that they can afford to make a free home version too in the future. ;)

For Home vs Pro comparison, go to http://lazesoft.com/lazesoft-recovery-suite.html and click on comparison. There isnt much difference between the two, aside from two features and ability to use dor business. Still, one of those features is important in my opinion and 65% off the Pro version is a steal. There is no guarantee the Free version will always get new features that are added so having Pro for less than $10 with free updates is a no brainer.

    Thanks SoS!

Home edition which is free has practically no differences with pro edition.

  21. Fred

    Reply to this comment#26

How could i overlook there is actually a discounted sale.
Still the question is left open: what´s the difference between free home edition and pro version?
Does the pro version have any special pro features that are not included in the home edition?

    Reply to this comment#24

Yes! I was waiting for this for half a year to come again.
Is there no discounted deal for this? :(
By the way? What are the differences between the editions? There is a full working free home edition available on the homepage. The only difference i can see between the versions is that they are named differently. Home edition has recovery program in home version, professional in professional version etc.
As long as there are no limitations in functionality the home edition maybe enough. I also used the boot stick made by home edition several times. Last time i used it to recover several hundred gigs of data from an unaccessable HDD (fault from another giveaway called Eazy Fix). So there seems neither a filesize nor a limitation of amount for files to recover.

For anyone having difficulty ascertaining the version they have already, the Pro one I have is 3.4.2
    Today’s giveaway is (Pro) 3.5.1
    I will be getting it.
Don’t think I have used it for a recovery yet, but I am impressed with the program, and if they have still made it easy to create a WinPE disc, then they are miles ahead of other software developers.

As some of you would know, I like to run such programs from a bootable CD.
This program provides the ability to create such a CD
It is a WinPE CD, and I have to say this was the most painless I have ever used. It does all the hard work for you.
Normally you have to get the MS WAIK kit, etc, and MS makes that harder by NOT having any download for XP users.
Today’s program did it all for me (and I am using XP).
I take my hat off to them,
    Rob

Sorry about that. I quickly scanned the description and thought it was the same as Kingsoft – a 1 year license rather than a 1 user license.

    [@tim]

When that happens, clean the cache and cookies in your browser and reload this page. For some reason, I find this site takes awhile to load, and doesn’t always load the entire page. Sometimes the Ghostery add-on finds a bunch of trackers and other times it doesn’.t

If you check the free and Pro version comparison of this program, there’s little difference:

    http://www.lazesoft.com/lazesoft-recovery-suite.html

There’s two things the Pro version does that the free verson can’t for Windows:
    1) Fix missing file crash such as “ntldr is missing”, “bootmgr is missing” etc.
    2) Windows AD Domain controller password resetting tool

I seem to remember from installing such software before that it is recommended to install data/file recovery and partition imaging software on a disk or partition other than the one you want to recover/restore from. If this is in fact the case, shouldn’t Lazesoft (or you) advise us accordingly? When you go to install this recovery suite, the default location is C:\Program Files…

Looks to be an excellent recovery & repair tool: Bootable optical/USB media builder, preview files (especially images, for me), good instructions; and, unlike many similar utilities, it includes password recovery/reset, backup-Registry mounting and, most cool, restoration of the “original” Registry. It includes many features from top-shelf recovery tools AND has some nice Windows repair features as well AND backup functionality. Can’t wait to test it.

The only additional thing I would like to see is the ability to run it from within Windows in order to work on secondary internal or attached external drives.

    Thanks SoS and Lazesoft.
