I got version 8 when it came up on SoS a while back. Anyone have any idea what’s new between 8 and 9. I googled, and found some things, but they just have general descriptions of the software, even though labeled “what’s new in version 9,” they aren’t really new things.
Yikes. When I activated, it says “License key already activated” and “This license key has been activated too many times. Please contact our support for further assistance or purchase an additional license.” This was my first attempt at entering the license key.
I had used the download from Ashampoo site. Whenever I used the one from SOS, it worked. It appears that the key may only work with the version included in the SOS download wrapper. Your mileage may vary.

Could some of the problems registering be that Snap 2018 which is a version of Snap 10 was already given away here?
Why are the reviews for version 8 when the giveaway says 9?
How does SNAP 9 compare with SNAP 2018: are they the same or is one better than the other?
I have downloaded Ashampoo Snap 9 from the SharewareOnSale page. I was instructed to go to http://linktarget.ashampoo.com/linktarget/?target=trial&edition=eid=27722 and request a key. I was already logged in and the page recognised this. In spite of this, it still asked me to enter my email address. I did so and the next page asked me to enter my password. The following page showed Step 1: you are logged in with Mal Torte and a big green tick. On the next line, step 2, show the licence key, the tick was greyed out. It did not appear despite a long wait. Retry: same result. Emptied cache. Retry (this time becoming logged-in during the process) same result.
I STILL do not have a licence key and it does not appear in my licence list!

I dont know what to say about this program if i like it or hate it the only thing is that it works ,after all that I still went and buy the program last years version but since then never used it , I just cant seem to get my head around this especially when i am in a hurry and want to make a quick screen shot so I give up and bought another program for quick use ( what i call the aim and shoot principle ), but i cant condemn Ashampoo Snap the program works very well with options on a grand scale the results a good .
