"Storage Accelerant for DELL Streak 5" is a tool to set the read-ahead buffer(read_ahead_kb) for external storage(/sdcard) and internal storage(/data,/cache).
If you set the proper read-ahead buffer of internal storage, will improve the performance of the DELL Streak 5. (As if replacing the built-in microSD card)
If you are already replacing the built-in microSD, it may be less effective.
Also, the check operation is not done in a Custom-ROM. Depending on the Custom-ROM, you may not be effective.
