Lock Extender is a plugin for Tasker, Locale, Llama and other automation apps that allows you to change the delay that is applied to the lock screen after the display is turned off.

For example, have the lock delay set to 3 hours when you are at home so that the screen lock does not activate whilst you are there.

Please note that pressing the power button will still lock the device and that you will need to unlock the device once for the lock to be removed.

Please also be aware that you will need to have an exit task to re-apply the time out value.

**** ROOT **** Root/SU Permissions are required only during installation/un-installation of the Helper. If you are concerned about the app having root/su permissions, when prompted, only allow the permissions once so it is not saved. This way you will see that the app doesn't regularly ask for SU permissions (and neither does the Helper).
I'm sorry but you will need to reboot after each Helper install/remove action. I had this working in development without the need for a reboot but for some reason the release one doesn't like it, I will work on this though.
