This app uses advanced techniques to enhance the colors in photos to make faint features more visible. Techniques used include decorrelation stretching, histogram equalization, saturation enhancement, and hue/brightness matching. It works on photos from your phone's gallery and also has a live video enhancement mode. Enhanced photos can be saved for later viewing and sharing.
Applications include medical imaging of dengue and influenza, and enhancement of old paintings and rock art.
Note: The app uses the OpenCV library, so users of older phones may need to manually install Open CV Manager in order to use the app.
