After installing the program it should be version 10 but version 5.4 was installed

I have downloaded the installation package and installed it.
You said that it would automatically register itseself.When using the installed program and looking at the registration details the program says it is not registered.
Can you please advise.
Before I download it and try it, I’d like to know if you can switch back and forth between insert and overwrite. While I don’t use it a lot, the feature is very useful to me.
[@Kit Kimes] Text Edit Plus supports 2 text engines. SynEdit engine supports insert/overwrite.
