Peter BlaiseGuestI’ve been successfully providing high-tech support since 1969, and I can’t for the life of me figure out anything that Hassleo ‘Easy’ UEFI offers or what any of their programs do, how I would use whatever they think the tools are that they are offering.
For example, this claims to offer cloning, but how would I take this program to a computer I’d like to clone?
Does this build a bootable USB flash drive that I can then go to another computer, attached a second hard drive, and clone the first drive to the second drive?
No?
So, what do other folks do with Hassleo ‘Easy’ UEFI products?
Perhaps Hassleo ‘Easy’ UEFI can pitch in here.
Otherwise, I just get the feeling that these are Hessleo ‘Easy’ UEFI folk’s personal tools, they know how to use them, and they have customized them for themselves, and they are releasing them to the public, but they have not sought to find out what the public’s expectations of tools are all about, such as reviewing the competition regarding cloning – there are dozens of clone tools out there that I have no problem using the first time I see them, but I can’t get a Hassleo ‘Easy’ UEFI program to do anything no matter how many times I’ve tried.
Alternatives: So instead, I’ve been using free Hirens Boot CD PE X64 that has a variety of free cloning software installed, it makes a portable USB flash drive that boots and lets me clone and swap an old hard drive to a new SSD, easy, no hassles.
Easy, no hassles.
I’ve never seen anything from Hassleo ‘Easy’ UEFI be easy, no hassles.
Can they do this?:
Step 1, build USB flash drive:
– click on software,
– point to and click on ‘make bootable flash drive’
– point to and click on the flash drive to make into a bootable cloner,
– click go, and wait for completion,
– click exit, and take the USB flash drive to another computer.Step 2, clone an old drive to a new one,
– boot the USB flash drive and load the software,
– point to and click on ‘clone’,
– point to and click on ‘source drive’,
– point to and click on ‘target drive’, confirm all options are agreeable, such as ‘align’,
– click go, and wait for completion,
– exit, power off, swap drives, reboot from the target drive OK.Hmm … nothing like that in Hassleo ‘Easy’ UEFI as far as I can discover.
Perhaps Hassleo ‘Easy’ UEFI can pitch in here.
Oh well, thanks for letting us explore this and share, Ashraf.
