I installed the software. When I launch it, it comes up briefly like the activation is to load then disappears and will not go into the software at all.
On Win11, i9 CPU, 64 BG RAM

I had no trouble downloading and installing this, but then I already an account with Ashampoo.
Their website has the same program for free, so those having trouble with SOS version could try the one from the website.
The two files have different MD5 checksums, so they are different. I didn’t dig into what the differences are.I also have Ashampoo Disk Space Explorer 2018. It gives a nice pie chart and shows the bars next to the pie. The 2023 version shows bars (indicating space usage) in the same space as file/folder information. For me, that makes it easier to see what’s going on, and more files/folders can be listed. So, while it’s not as nice to look at, it’s easier to understand. A rare case of a program being “improved” and it’s actually better!
This is the one of the most impressive app
After reading the other comments, I signed onto my (free) Ashampoo account. I left that open in one window, while I downloaded the program in another window. It installed fine.
My computer has an SSD disk, but I was still surprised at how quickly the program analyzed all my files. In less than 5 minutes after installation, I was able to locate the biggest video files that were taking up space on my nearly full drive.
I’m very happy with the program.
