Ashraf why did your delete my factual review of the program on offer? I examined/debuged it personally and would stand up in a court of law and give same expert testimony it does NOT do as claimed and always re-encodes video when processing. You can view the command line passed to FFMPEG.EXE using task manager details tab with command line column enabled and you will find that it uses a command line that forces re-encoding it is a SCAM that does no better than standard FFMPEG based video editors.

Tried this before because it CLAIMS to edit without re-encoding but on checking the command line passed to the illegal distribution of FFMPEG.EXE it does in fact re-encode the video just lake any stolen FFMPEG.EXE GUI it does NOT use the command line parameters to copy the video stream but uses the same command line parameters to re-encode. There is not even any choice to leave output the same as input format… the format set is what it IS RE-ENCONDED into regardless of the lies in the marketing which Ashraf has fallen for hook line and sinker in his unverified overview. This program is an illegal SCAM piece of software not doing what it claims to do with stolen intellectual property.

[@TK] whoops I was basing my comments on an old version… it has changed… ignore my rant this program in the version given away does not use FFMPEG binaries in any form it uses ActiveX libraries. While it’s plausible it does not re-encode video on re-making… it does seem to re-encode the audio track(s) when it doesn’t have to, I would prefer no-re-encode at all… and copy the streams. And it installs and runs under Windows Vista and should also be installable and runnable under XP SP3

Please download the program and run it on your PC. The license key is pre-installed, so no activation key needs to be entered.

    Hello,

In AVS Video ReMaker, audio tracks are re-encoded. The audio stream is converted to the output audio format. If the source file uses a non-standard bitrate value, it is automatically adjusted to the nearest supported standard bitrate.

Although Windows Vista and Windows XP SP3 are currently supported in this version, we do not plan to continue supporting these operating systems in future releases.
