Quick Review:
Been running tests on this all day. As far as I am concerned OnTrack EasyRecovery is the best recovery software out there from all my previous tests with various products on memory cards. Its only weakness is that its MOV recovery can be pretty poor compared with others. It also has a pricey per year licence model making this quick expensive in the long run.
Do Your Data Recovery Pro performs incredibly well. It managed to keep up with Ontrack in most areas (JPG and other camera formats such as CR2) and even recovered a few formats Ontrack didn’t (AMR files). As mush as I don’t particularly like the license activations model, this is a very good buy at $19.
A small thing I noticed though was its results folder layout looks familiar which makes me think this may be a rebadge of another product (maybe Active@, I cant remember off hand) but it could be a coincidence.
